Getting to Reethi Faru Resort
From Velana International Airport (MLE) · 159 km · Seaplane transfer
How to reach Reethi Faru Resort
The resort is approximately 159 km from Malé in Baa Atoll. Guests can fly directly by seaplane (about 45 minutes) or take a 20-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo airport followed by a 40-minute speedboat to the resort jetty. The domestic flight and speedboat combination is the more budget-friendly route.
Seaplane transfers typically run $250–600 per person round trip, booked through the property. A few islands in this band are also served by a domestic flight to a nearby regional airport plus a short boat — ask the property which routing is faster for your dates.
Step by step
- Fly to Malé. Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE), the Maldives' main international gateway, served by direct flights from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
- Seaplane transfer. Transfer onward by scenic seaplane over the atolls — roughly 159 km. Seaplanes operate in daylight hours only, so a late arrival may mean an overnight in Malé.
- Arrive at Reethi Faru Resort. Settle in and start your stay.
